A $2,000.00 extension fee will be charged, for each subsequent year, for interns that need additional year(s) of support.  The extension is not guaranteed and is granted at the employing district’s request. 

 

Upon obtaining employment, interns will submit a money order payable to SBEC for their probationary certificate.  In addition, Program participants will pay for their fingerprinting fees, the Texas Education Agency technology fee, and pay for their certification exams.  The Intern will pay SBEC for their standard certificate, once the intern has met all program and state requirements.  Interns are responsible for applying for their certificate(s) in a timely manner.

 

ALL FEES ARE  NON-REFUNDABLE.  We do not accept personal checks.  Please pay your application and training fees with a cashier’s check, money order, or click on this link to use PayPal

 

 

Acceptance into the program does not constitute a guarantee of employment or certification.  Applications are discarded after one year, if the applicant does not enroll in the program's Pre-Service Training Academy.  Fees are subject to change before the person begins their internship, if the fee is an across the board increase or decrease for all interns.
